Wooden FireProof Door

CONCEPT

The reasons that we insist on "wooden" fireproof doors
ABE KOGYO fireproof doors are made of beautiful well-crafted wood, however beauty is not the only reason that we insist on their use.
While there is a popular misconception that wood is highly flammable, it is in fact a relatively "fire-resistant" material.
Studies show that when wood is exposed to temperatures in excess of 200 ℃ in the fire, a carbonized char layer forms on the surface as it burns, preventing oxygen from venting into the inner layers and substantially slowing the time that it takes to burn to its core.
Furthermore, because wood has such low thermal conductivity, and because the surface of the door is not likely to be directly affected by extreme temperatures, the possibility of saving lives also increases. Since receiving primary certification as domestically-produced wooden fireproof doors, ABE KOGYO fireproof doors have been a top industry leader.
